Rosemary Powelson’s May Show Canceled

Due to continued COVID-19 Issue concerns, May’s Featured Artist Show is Canceled.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will keep you informed of any changes. Stay safe, save lives.

Rosemary Powelson- Ceramic Artist and Avid Traveler

Rosemary Powelson, artist and avid traveler, retired in 2008 from Lower Columbia College where she taught art history and studio art courses. She spends many hours cruising on the Columbia River in the boat her husband built.

Rosemary will be sharing several of her sketches from various travels as well as her handmade ceramic pieces. She has also been involved with the Library Fund Raiser, “Art Speaks Volumes”. This event is held at the Rose Center for the Arts on Lower Columbia College Campus. Last year was very successful in creating a foundation of funds to keep programs alive at the library. This year’s event has been postponed due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

We hope that the scheduled reception will happen but keep posted on our website or Facebook page. Hope to see everyone on May 7th.
