Painting

My name is Scott McRae and I have been an active artist since 1990. I aim for a positive feeling with my art and do so by mixing most of my colors from the primary colors of red, blue and yellow.

I remain in the know while I do my work, open to every decision that comes my way. Design is also very important to me and I aim for a sense of balance with every piece I make. I have been currently working with acrylics because I like to play with the various textures it yields.

I graduated from Linfield College in McMinnville Oregon in 1990 with a BA in Art. I also took art classes at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Washington.  I also have a BA in Education from Washington State University and am currently teaching art for children and adults at the Broadway Gallery in Longview Washington.

I am a national and internationally recognized artist and have won many awards with my art. ~ Scott McRae

DAZZLING!!! fanTAStic colors and brushwork. And it seems you’ve been very prolific, too. Looking fwd to seeing these at the Gallery or in some other venue with great big blue prize-winning ribbons attached.
