Beth Bailey- Illustrations and Metal
Beth Bailey, member of the gallery and Columbian Artists Association, has been working in pen and ink and watercolor to illustrate some of the best Northwest scenery since her move to Oregon in 1982. Her artwork reflects many water related images due to her explorations onshore and offshore from Oregon to Canada. She is also known for her historical and architectural illustrations for individuals and businesses. As a graphic artist, she also has designed two banners for Longview Washington and one logo for the City of Rainier.
Metal artwork takes on a very different look but still centers around nautical and nature themes. Beth has enjoyed learning this art from LCC Metal Arts Class started by David Pittsley. Plasma cutting and welding takes on a new look that keeps her challenged. “It’s been exciting to learn this new art. It really makes me happy to create in an unforgiving and durable medium,” says Beth.

Columbian Artists Association- Paintings
Columbian Artists Association was invited to show their 6×6 paintings that they normally would show at their Spring Show and Art in the Park. This is a fundraiser for the art group to provide a public venue to see various artists work and subject matter. This program started in 2018. Members receive a blank 6×6 canvas and volunteer to donate their painted images to raise funds for our show expenses and awards for the Spring and Fall shows.
