Kory and Rachel are two Dollar sisters on a creative journey together. They own and operate Marvelous Mosaic, a studio and gallery in Rainier, Oregon and a retreat center in Deer Island, Oregon and an e-commerce website for mosaic tools and supplies.

The two began their love for art at a young age, helping with grandpa in the rock studio and participating with their dad in woodworking and potter projects throughout childhood and teen years. They were constantly encouraged to be creative by family and friends. “Artistic Freedom without Self-doubt,” Kory proclaims, is something that was installed in them from birth. Allowing the two to create without worrying what everyone else is thinking.

It is that spark that drives the girls’ passion for success. The two are bringing access to mosaic and fusion to Columbia County, they have classes for children and adults of all abilities and skill levels. The sisters want to empower others with art, just like their parents did for them. The two create large scale mosaic murals, both public and private, mosaic and  fused glass art. In addition, they teach all skill levels of stained glass on glass mosaic and fusing.
