Brian Lightfoot- Wooden Walking Sticks

Artist holding a walking stick

Brian Lightfoot

I have been carving since I was allowed to have a knife. Canes and walking sticks came along 20 years later as I started knowing more people who needed them.
As I walked along beaches and in forests with my wife, kids and dog, I was always looking for unusual pieces that nature had formed. I have my eye out for potential projects wherever I go. Some pieces are obvious while others need to be unveiled by carving, sanding, or finding features that stand out.
I use polished stone, agates, crystals, doorknobs and leather for various embellishments and handles. To finish the wood, I use oils, varnishes, stains and waxes.
I would like the new owner of my cane or walking stick to appreciate the look, feel and functionality of the piece and all the time and effort taken to make it “One-of-a-Kind”.

Columbian Artists Association- 6×6 paintings

The Columbian Artists Association has teamed together with the Broadway Gallery to help promote their unique 6×6 paintings. Since their Spring Show and the Art in the Park Show were cancelled, they have been looking for ways to continue support of their association.
No matter what size of living space, these small paintings can brighten up any space and lift your spirits. Each painting costs only $35. Come enjoy, find some peace, or take one home with you.
