Scott McRae

Scott McRae is a graduate of Linfield College with a BA in Art. He lives in Longview, Washington and has painted professionally since 1991.

His main interest is in acrylic painting which he has won an international award. Much of Scott’s training has also been in pastel and oil. Subject matter in his art comes from still life—especially paintings of flowers.

Scott also has a BA in Education from Washington State University and teaches art at the Broadway Gallery to children and adults.

I’m described as a fearless painter. My unabashed use of color and painting process have embraced the problems I have with my painting and made them an integral part of the my work.” ~ Scott McRae

“Art gives my life harmony.”

Along with my family and their constant love and encouragement, and with my outside activities that give me balance, art gives me an outlet for creativity and for the profound excitement that comes with each new project.
