The Broadway Gallery
Nestled among the tree-lined streets of downtown Longview, the gallery is a mecca for unique artists and local artwork. Located just blocks from other unique shops, galleries and bistro/restaurants, it has become an integral part of the downtown art scene.

Gallery Roots
In 1982, seventeen local artists joined together to form a cooperative gallery in a small storefront on Broadway in downtown Longview. The economy was shaky and they had hoped to keep the doors open at least a year or two. Within three years, they outgrew the space and moved to the current location at 1418 Commerce Ave. In September 2022 , we celebrated our 40th anniversary. Currently, the gallery has 33 members.
Unique, Local Artwork
A wide range of media is represented including oils, watercolors, acrylics, mixed media, photographs, decorative and functional pottery, sculpture, prints, wearable art and jewelry. Rentals, layaways, gift wrapping and shipping are available. Member artists staff the gallery which is owned and operated in cooperation with the artist members. See our diverse and talented artists.
How Do I Become a Member?
If you would like to become a member of the gallery, please download an application and member information. After you complete the application, drop it by the gallery or mail it to us. We will then set up a jury date to view your work.
First Thursday Celebrations
First Thursday celebration that is held each month from 5:30-7:00 pm. Each month we have displays of new featured artists available to view and you can ask questions of invited guest artists or member artists.
Stop by, view and purchase new artists’ work and enjoy an afternoon of art and support other businesses in Downtown Longview on monthly Shop Saturday, the third Saturday of the month.
